Question
Dear Tomay,
My cat has been running about for some time now and one day he came home with his bone showing and blood and puss driping. It seems moist and smells funny. Could I maybe crush baby asprin onto his food and maybe put peroxide on it?
He wont let us go near his wound so i became worried and i cant really offord to take him to the vet. What should we do?
                               Sincerly,
                                    Sara

Answer
Hi Sara,
Unfortunately it doesn't sound like this can be remedied at home.  Your cat needs to see a vet.  The baby aspirin will simply temporarily offer some pain relief, and peroxide will cleanse the area, but will also kill much of the surrounding tissue.  The presence of pus, indicates infection.  Infection can only be treated with antibiotics.  With the bone being exposed, there is also the chance of bone infection setting in, which can have dire consequences.  Check in your area and see if there are any non profit or low cost clinics that may be able to help you.  This is definitely something that needs immediate attention.
Thank you for your question, and best wishes to you.
