my cat seems like its always hungry  she is fixed she only wants to eat one brand of food  I always heard when a cat gets fixed they will eat more is that true?

Hi Lorraine,

No that isn't true. Does she eat just dry food or wet food also? You might want to change her food over to a one that is a low or no carb cat food. These types of foods usually supply all of your cat's nutrition needs. They fill her up fast and are the most like what a cat naturally eats. EVO, Nature's Variety, Wellness are some of these types. To change her over you mix a portion of the new in with the old. And you make the change over very gradually. It should take about two weeks to do it right. This should help her. Good luck.

Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it. Before you swat me, before you strike me, remember that I have teeth that could draw blood. And claws to strike back. And yet I choose not to attack you. If I don't act right then have me checked to see what is wrong. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old. On the difficult journey, on the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there.
