my gorgeous 6 month old cat has been missing for 3 days she's never done this before and i'm very worried about her.she has not been spayed could she be out there looking for a mate and will she come home?

well i think you have hit the nail on the head. yes it is very likely that your female cat has gone off looking for a mate.

Sometimes cats will take themselves off from time to time exploring there territory and marking it but as your cat is not spayed i would think that that is the biggest pull for her.
