Question
can cats get colds? My cat is coughing, not eating well and when she meows it sound very faint like she has a cold or something. Can you tell me what it may be? Marilyn

Answer
Hi
yes they can and cat flu can be very severe see my webpage here about it http://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-flu.html

They can also just get minor colds just like us and can go off their food for a day or two.

Keep an eye on them and make sure they drink plenty to prevent dehydration.

best wishes
