Question
Hey there!

I have a 7 year old male, orange tabby named Grap that has been sneezing and had a runny nose for a month now. To the point where he is snoring an di can hear every breath. it seems to have been getting wrose over the last week. Only his eyes run (however he has a history of Eye Ulcers), I haven't seen any discharge from his nose really. When he does sneeze in my face (ew) its clear. He still eats and drinks just fine and is just as active. he still runs about and plays with his brother. I was wondering if i could give him Amoxi or something? Let me know what you think!

Justine

Answer
Justine,

I am not a vet, but were it my kitty, I would see a vet now.  Having an upper respiratory problem for a month is not normal. It may be nothing more than allergies or could develop into something more serious. Without knowing what it is, treatment by amoxi might be a waste!!!!!

Best regards... Norm.
