Question
Hi my 11 year old cat has been throwing up clear foamy liquid on and off for a few days...now he will not eat much food at all. I have tried giving him different dry cat foods he usually likes but he won't go near his bowl...he is still drinking water but not much food...his behaviour appears normal and he is purring and happy...any advice you can give me would be helpful! Thanks Lea
Hi Lea,
You need to get him to the vet. His throwing up and his age could mean he has hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, or IBD. I can't give you a diagnosis. But I can tell you his not eating can cause him to go into liver failure. Get him to your vet. This is the best thing you can do for him. Good luck.
