Question
Dear Karen,

It's the first day of Christmass and I am sitting confortably on my sofa watching telly. One of my cats (12 years old) jump on the blacket next to me on the sofa, wikkles his tail and starts peeing againt me!!!!!! About six months ago one of my other cats jump on my bed in the morning and i greeted him and started petting him. He turned around wikkled his tail and peed against me.
So could you please tell me why they feel the urge to 'bless' me in this way.

Hi Parama,

Merry Christmas! He most likely wasn't peeing against you, but on the blanket, (very soft). You might want to run him in to the vet to get a check up. He might have the beginnings if an infection in the urinary tract. Cats are usually very clean so when there is a change in litter habits that means something is up with them physically. He may not be using his litter box, so keep an eye out for his peeing in other areas. If he isn't using the litter box, you need to clean those inappropriate areas with a good enzymatic cat urine cleaner. Try this stuff too. http://www.preciouscat.com/ Good luck.

And yet I choose not to attack you. If I don't act right then have me checked to see what is wrong. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old. On the difficult journey, on the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there. Because I love you so. Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be a much duller, less joyful thing without God's critters. Pass this on.
