Question
She's birthed only 1 after 4 hours of trying but I can feel 2 more in her other horn. She seems to desperately want me to massage her, contractions appear to have stopped and it's now morning & 11 hours later. We have no money to take her to the vet, it's a choice between feeding my family at the end of the month or taking Cleopatra to vet. How long & hard should I massage her? I understand you are not a vet, but I am DESPERATE to save my baby!!

I can give you some info but you really need to get her to a vet. Ask your vet about making payments or bartering with him. In today's climate they are willing to work with you. This is a very serious situation. Here is a link that explains what you can try to do. But I don't recommend this. But I understand your dilemma.  And if you do this be extremely careful. This comes down to a life or death situation for your cat. Please try to get her to the vet. Here's the link.

Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it. Before you swat me, before you strike me, remember that I have teeth that could draw blood. And claws to strike back. And yet I choose not to attack you. If I don't act right then have me checked to see what is wrong. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old. On the difficult journey, on the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there. Because I love you so. Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be a much duller, less joyful thing without God's critters. Pass this on.
