Cats/Bleeding after getting fixed today

My cat got fixed today, and I have him in the bathroom where it is nice and quiet and cool so he can just relax. Every where he has laid are spots of blood is this normal? I do not have money to take him in to the vet until Tuesday what can I do till then??

Hi Maddie,

No this isn't normal. Call the vet who did the spay. They should not charge you for a follow up on this. If they do speak up and tell them exactly what you said to me. And tell them this started as soon as you got home. This needs to be checked right away. Call them and get her in.

In the meantime move her into a large kitty or dog crate. You want to keep her movements down to a minimum. Make sure the crate is big enough for food, water and a small litter pan. And she should be able to turn comfortably around in it. Good luck.

And yet I choose not to attack you. If I don't act right then have me checked to see what is wrong. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old. On the difficult journey, on the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there.
