Cats/cat brings things in her litter box

Question
so my cat is about a year old, and she was using her litter box normally, and a couple months ago my boyfriend was cleaning the box and found a grocery bag in there. it wasn't an every day thing but it seems to be more frequent. i was talking to a coworker and her cat does the same thing with her bathroom towels, is there a reason for this. we clean the litter boxes daily or every other day, so i hope that's not the problem. please help!!!

Answer
Leslee,

I have cats that put some toys in the litter box.  Cats have their peculiar habits, and you have discovered one of your cat's peculiar habits. I have no earthly idea why some cats do that, so I cannot be of much help.

If you can figure out what types of things appear to interest her in taking them to the litter box, maybe these things should not be left out for the cat!

Best regards... Norm.
