Question
my 3 month old kitten has been throwing up her food basically undigested the last 2 days. we haven't switched food or anything. but i am in the process of deworming my puppy and i think she may have eaten some of her food. could that be the cause and what do i do
Hi Tawnya,
When cats get switched over on food they need to do it gradually. Their digestive system gets used to one type of food and if they eat something different they will throw it up. If this is the case try to keep her away from your puppies food. That is all you need to do. Here's a good link that gives great advice about cat nutrition. http://catinfo.org/index.htm
If she continues to throw up after being on her regular food then a trip to the vet might be advisable. Good luck.
