Cats/pregnant cat?

Question
My boyfriend and I adopted 2 female cats about 6 to 7 mos old a month
or so ago. One of them that they said is shy and skittish is like over
lovey. Like in your face wanting to be patted. Her tummy looks a little
bigger than it should but her nipples aren't that coral pink that I have
been told. Is it possible she might be pregnant? If so, how far along do
you think she might be? When she lays on her side you can see a little
bump but not huge. She's just really round and the other is not at all.

Answer
Jaimie,

The best way to check if your cat is pregnant is to see your veterinarian.  They can tell you for certain.  There is no way of knowing how far along she might be if you do not know when she was bred. Just to get an idea, cat gestation is 65-67 days after being bred, with 63 days being a normal minimum and 68 days being a normal maximum.

I am assuming they do not run outside, but, even so, you may schedule the two of them to get spayed.  If the one is pregnant, you will have to see what your vet says about when to spay.

Please let me know what you find out.

Best regards... Norm.
