Cats/struvite crystals

Question
My cat is 13 and has had many problems over the years with urination.  Recently she was operated on and the crystals were removed.  I was told only to give her hills science c/d wet food.  Are there any treats that she could have that would not cause more problems?  She seems to be doing well.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Susan,

Your best treat to give her is something you make yourself. I would just boil up some chicken and cut it up into bite size pieces. She will love this. It is cheap and good for her. And freeze what you don't use, ( a small ice cube tray will work great),. Unfreeze what you need for the day. Here's a link about feeding your with this problem. Read the whole article.
