Cats/Relocating my kittens to a different part of the house?

Question
Hi my cat has had kittens under my bed and that's where they have
stayed. They are now 4 weeks old and I would like to move her into a
different room so that I can offer the kittens food water and a litter box
without being disturbed by my other pets. I have put the towel in there that
she gave birth on (unwashed) so it has her sent on it and enclosed an
area so that the kittens can't run around the house!! Have tried to move
her there twice now and she keeps taking them back under my bed!! How
do I get her to stay there? Apart from locking her in the room with the
kittens I don't know what else to try?

Answer
Nerissa,

Locking her in a room with the kittens is really the best approach.  Make sure you provide her a good sized box with bedding that the kittens can get in and out of as at their age, they would like to wander.  Also, if there are any other pets or young children, it would be safer for the kittens to have a private place with limited access.

Please let me know how she does as you will probably want to begin weaning these kittens in a coupole, of weeks.

Best regards... Norm.
