Question
Hi Karen,

I must be the weakest person going when it comes to animals.  I tried the baby food and believe it or not all they did was lick off the baby food and left the actual food.  Karen, I have to get strict about this.  Can't I just put one food down and ignore them and pray that they will eventually eat it?  They are getting wet food in the morning, except my little girl really does not like wet food, she only takes a couple of bites.  There are 5 bowls of food down right now.  This is ridiculous.  Any other suggestions of how I can eliminate some of this food?

They own me I don't own them.  They have me over a barrel.

Answer
Hi Ellen,

What, you didn't know they own you? LOL Ok you try this trick and see if it works. Take some tuna water,(water from a can of tuna or add tuna to water), and sprinkle it on the dry food. See if that will tempt them. You can also just do like you said. Leave out the dry food and see what happens. You will have to watch the weight of them. If they drop weight from not eating you are going to have to switch them back to the dry they like. Or you can just feed them wet only. That also will work for them. You can also try mixing the dry in with the wet in the morning and try to see if they eat it that way. Hope one of these suggestions work. Good luck and take care.

Ciao, Karen
