Question
I was wondering this is my polydactl cats second time to get pregnant. She is due any day now with her litter. What my question is we have noticed she is putting off a stinky smell. Is this normal? We did not notice this with her first litter. The babies all seem to be moving so I know that none are dead. I am just wondering if this is normal?
Hi Jackie,
No this is not normal. Try to find where the odor is coming from. I couldn't tell you what is the cause of this odor. But it is not right. And a trip to the vet would be in order here. At this stage of the pregnancy anything out of the ordinary is suspicious. Take her to your vet to be safe. Good luck and take care.

Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends, your entertainments. But I have only you.
Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when speaking to me.
Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it.
Before you swat me, before you strike me, remember that I have teeth that could draw blood. And claws to strike back. And yet I choose not to attack you.
If I don't act right then have me checked to see what is wrong.
Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old.
