please help,
    Joe

Answer
Hi Joe,

Glad you took her to the vet and found out what was causing her the problem. She is associating the litter box with the pain she had urinating. The best way to take care of this is to get a new litter box and new litter. And try some of this stuff. http://www.preciouscat.com/  You can get it at Pet Smart.

Once you do that you should have no more problems with her not using the litter box. Oh, and get a good enzymatic cat urine cleaner. Clean the areas she was using. This will prevent any temptations to use those spots again. Good luck and take care.

Ciao, Karen
