Cats/hypoallergenic cats

Question
Hi Iwould really like to have a cat but my mom is allergic to cats. Are their any hypoallergenic cats ou their.

Answer
Hi Isaiah,

Unfortunately no cats are hypoallergenic. It would be very sad to adopt a cat and then find out our mom can't live with him. My advice is to volunteer for a local rescue group and offer to socialize cats and play with them at the shelter, or maybe you mom would be willing to try fostering a cat to see if her allergies react. THat way there is no long term commitment. Then when you are old enough to have a home of your own you can have 2 cats!
