Question
My cat is bleeding a drop of blood in her motion. Why ?

Answer
Hi Saniya,

Your kitten should see a veterinarian. It may be something that she's eating that is irritating her bowels, but your kitten probably has parasitic worms. Most worms cause bleeding because they cause irritation, but some actually feed on blood and can cause blood in the stool that way. Extra caution needs to be taken when treating kittens for worms, as some drugs can be harmful. Be sure to use only the amount of medication given by the veterinarian, and stop the medication if the kitten seems to get sick.

This should not be related to her reaching maturity. You will not notice any blood with most cats regarding that.

Good luck!
