Cats/Cat eye problem

Question
Hello! My cat, Harley, male, DSH, about 13 years old has developed a small white lump on the corner of his eyeball.
It doesn't seem to bother him and the funny thing is, I am always looking at him, doting and petting in some form and I only just noticed it last night. It looks like a 1/4" sized lump of tissue paper. Ocassionally, he squints in that eye, so it does bother him in a small way.
I would be so grateful for any further insight as I'm sorry worried about my little buddy!
I have made a vet appointment for tomorrrow, but I'm so worried right now!
Thank you so much!!!!
Victor

Answer
Hi Victor,

If he was a human I would say it sounds like a sty. Getting him to the vet is the best thing you can do. He sounds like it isn't bothering him too much. There isn't much more you can do until you know what it is. Just make sure he is eating and drinking okay and give him lots of love. Good luck and let me know what the problem was..
