What is the youngest that you can give a bath with shampoo to a kitten.

Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry.  Unless it is an emergency of somesort, the VERY youngest to bathe should be at least 3 weeks, assuming this is a healthy kitten.  After a very warm bath, be sure to protect her from any drafts or cold air.  Use a blow dryer to completely dry, while on a heating pad set at low.  Leave the baby on the heating pad for a good hour after the bath and dry, to ensure that she is 100% dry, so as not to catch a cold.  Be sure and check the temperature every now and then to be sure it does'nt get too hot.
