Cats/Hiding kitten

Question
I have a 7 week old kitten and a 6 week old kitten.  The 7 week old kitten I adopted from a friend and knew the kitten's background.  The 6 week old kitten was rescued from an animal shelter.  When I adopted her they told me that they rescued her from the house of a 'cat hoarder' and that she most likely was not that used to people.

The 7 week old kitten got used to me and my living space in under two days.  The 6 week old kitten is now hiding and hiding so well that I'm entertaining thoughts that she may have somehow snuck out the door and run away.  I know she didn't have the chance to do this, but it's been a day now and I can't find her anywhere.

I put out food, but the other kitten gets into it so I can't tell if she's gotten a chance to eat.
Please help me find my kitty.

Answer
Hi Cyn,

Little kittens can get into spaces you wouldn't think that they can fit in. What was the last room she was in? If I know what room it was I can help you with were to look. Write back and let me know and I'll help you further. Good luck.
