Question
I have a 7 month old female kitten that keeps jumping on the worktops when we are in bed, we think she knows this is naughty as she never does it when we are there, she also keeps chewing wires, we have bought her loads of mice and toys and tried playing with her but all she does is bite us and run off. She only chews stuff when were not there again and we cant really move her to another room at night as there is even more stuff for her to destroy in other rooms? Any hints on how to stop this behaviour would be very much aprechiated as my partner is getting sick of her chewing through things like wii cables and tv cables!!
thanks

Answer
Hi Jen,

You can try lining the worktops with bubble wrap. Cats don't like to walk on this. Also go to Home Depot or Lowe's and get something called wire loom. It is a hard plastic covering for wires. You will need that to protect your wires and your kitty. Good luck and let me know if the bubble wrap worked. If not I have other things that can be done.
