Question
Hi, hope you can help me! I have a 2 year old who delivered her 2nd litter a week ago,I have put her and her babies in the spare room, I do sleep in the room, to stop her getting lonely! tonight she woke me jumping on the bed with 1 of her kittens, I put the baby back, they are in a large suitcase, open of course! then mum kept meiowing and took another baby out and walked around the room, I am nervous that her babies are in danger, please advise!!

Answer
Hi Caroline,

Her babies aren't in danger. She feels that they aren't safe where they are. She trusts you and is bringing them to you to find a safe spot for them. Try getting her some sort of dog or cat bed,(big enough for all of them), and put it in the closet. Put the kittens in the bed and see what happens. It should take care of the problem. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

Ciao, Karen
