Question
I feel really stupid writing this but would you happen to have an easy way of telling the sex of a kitten (about half grown). We have found this little one as a stray, absolutely starving and the only other cats we have had were strays from vets/refuges and we have been told the sex. Thank you very much Gerry
Hi Gerry,
No, this isn't a stupid question. The way to tell is to lift up the tale and look. You will see the anus. That is the big hole right under the base of the tail. Under that you will see either another little hole,(boy),or a little line/slit,(girl).The boys little spot will be closer to the anus than the girls. I hope this helped. Good luck.
