hi, my newly adopted cat is constantly drinking water from the tap.  every time she hears water running, she is there lapping it up.  i give my cats fresh water twice per day.  she practically turns her nose upto the water in her bowl, yet, it is the same water.  i have thought about one of those automatic pet fountains, will this help?

I don't know what it is about cats and running tap water!  Mine do the exact same thing!  One of mine will actually sit on the bathroom sink and cry for me to turn the water on!  LOL And I usually do it! LOL  I have heard that it may go back to the cats in the wild who drink water from running streams instead of stagnant water, but I really don't know for sure.  I think an automatic pet fountain is a wonderful idea. Let me know if it works!
