Question
My cat, Stanley, has a rash on his belly and a little on knees and face. Taken to vet, they gave shot of quarterzone and Stanley gets liquid med twice a day, but he still has this rash and it itches.  Vet ruled out ringworm.  My poor cat, Stanley,  is suffering. His brother, Oliver is fine. Help

Answer
Hello Jane,
Sorry to hear of Stanley's delimma. His problems seem to be of a medical nature.  So, consulting a vet would be in order.  I can tell you, that from limited experience, I have taken a cotton ball soaked in Listerine or similar product, and dab it on.  Do it lightly at first to be sure he doesn't become more itchy.  It is easy to rinse off if needed.
It would probably be wise to continue your consultations with your vet.  Shots of cortizone usually help aleeve the itching and rashiness.
Good luck and hope Stanley will be feeling better soon.
Thank you for your inquiry.
