Question
hello, a cat from the street had two kittens next to my car. from the very first day i took really good care of her. i loved the little kittens, as i love all cats very much. one night by accident i ran over the kitten as it was under my car and i didnt see it. i was crying and i am still very sad, as it is something that i will never do. please tell me how the mother cat feels. because she saw what happend. will she ever get over it? will she keep on taking care the other kitten? can i do anything to make things better?
thank you

Answer
Hi Maria,

I'm very sorry for what happened. Don't be too hard on yourself. It was an accident. You don't have to worry about the mom. Cats are wired differently. They don't remember like you and I. She should take care of the other kitten. She might move it. Keep an eye on her if she does. If she abandons the little one, write back and I'll help you with the kit if needed.

Again, I'm sorry for what happened. Good luck.

Ciao, Karen
