I have 4  half breed Maine Coon Cats and I recently had the last one spayed and ever since she came home the other three seem to hate her and want to fight I have been keeping her separated from them what can I do they are brother and sisters and I want them back together.

Hi Linda,

What has happened is that when she went to the vet she picked up some strange odors on her. When she came home the other cats saw her but smelled a stranger. This confusion has lead them to attack her. You need to introduce them again. Try to get everyone's scent distributed to each other. Wipe them all down with the cloth. Make sure you get the back area good. A lot of scent is there, (as we well know). You can also rub them down with a sweaty shirt of yours too. All of this will help. In about a week all should calm down. If it doesn't write back.

And the next time you take one to vet, take the rest and you won't have this problem again. Good luck.

Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it. Before you swat me, before you strike me, remember that I have teeth that could draw blood. And claws to strike back. And yet I choose not to attack you. If I don't act right then have me checked to see what is wrong. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old. On the difficult journey, on the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there. Because I love you so. Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be a much duller, less joyful thing without God's critters. Pass this on.
