yesterday i noticed my cat has an open wound on her leg she seems to be walking ok but has problems getting up the stairs  should i bathe it with salt water or do you think she needs to see the vet?

Hello,
I think a trip to the vet is in order.  Open wounds can become infected, leading to internal problems, thus threatening the cats life .  A quick trip in to have a vet look at it, and then probably prescribe some antibiotics for a few days.  Bathing the area in salt water may be good in addition to some medical treatment. So, call your vet and have her seen as soon as possible.
