Question
Hi there. I have recently, (last night) gained 2 cats to come and live in my home with a 1 yr old cat that lives there already. they are not getting along yet....(yet) being the important word. what is the best way to have them adjust?
"My cat" who was there already, seems extremely upset. Of course I understand, I would be also If I were her.....
and, I have to be at work all day, so i am keeping them separated until I come home tonight.

Answer
Hello,

The article I have written here:

http://catnet.stanford.edu/articles/introducing_cats.html

Should provide you with extensive advice on this subject. Kudos to you for taking in 2 more homeless cats! It's a good idea to get them vet checked soon to make sure they don't bring any fleas, worms or viruses to your own kitty.

Good luck!
