my cat has developed a red boli like lump on her stomache and could it be a bite or a cyst it does not seem to bother her can you help

Hi Judy,
I am not a vet, so I can only give you my opinion based on experience.  This sounds like it may be an umbilical hernia of somesort.  Dogs can get them too.  Usually doesn't pose a problem of anysort, just a bit unsightly.  If it looks like it is getting bigger,redder, or if it seems to bother your kitty, then I would seek a vets advice.
