We just brought a 4 month old male kitten into our home, and we already have a 10month old female.  I found the male kitten mounted on top of our female today.  I have an appointment to get our girl kitty spayed in a month, am I too late? Can he really already get her pregnant, or were they just  emulating the act?  Right now I have them in separate rooms, and they are raising hell trying to get to each other.  Can a approximately 4 month old male impregnate our female?

I am not a breeder, so I don't know for sure, but I think that he can. You should have him neutered when you have the female spayed.  They both will be happier if you do.  If you don't have him neutered, he may spray.  If you have other questions about breeding, you may want to ask a breeder "expert".  I hope this helped!
