Question
i have a female cat who is just under one year old and she has been missing for two days,we have had a tom cat hanging around making a lot of noise is it poss she has gone to mate

Answer
Hello Paul,  Is your female spayed or not?  This time of year it may be that if she is in heat, she will get pregnant and run around with the boys :-)

Next time you get her in your house, keep her in and make her an appointment to get spayed quickly!  This will keep her more comfortable, and help her live longer too.

If you don't see her after the weekend, please let me know and we'll begin feasting to see if we can't bring her back home to you.

Good luck and I hope she's only running around in heat and not really missing.

Experience

I learned How to find & Capture Lost Cats the hard way when I lost 2 indoor only cats.

With 2 years of "overnight street watching", lost cat tips from friends & rescue groups, many new tricks I learned "on the fly", I want to help others. I understand the wretching pain of losing a cat and feel it's my duty to share what I hated having to learn too late - But to use it now to help others catch your lost ones.
