Hi Karen, I just got two kittens and they are brothers.  There father is Siamese.  Now I was just wondering one of them is very mellow.  The little guy though on the other hand is very high strung and bites all the time.  Whether he is biting his brother or me he bites.  I would like to know if this is because of the breed or is he seeking attention or what is going on?  Other than that he is such a sweet little guy.

Hi Kate,

It might be that he is afraid of his new situation. You are going to have to try to relax him. Try a product called Feliway Comfort Zone. It acts as a kitty tranquilizer. This should calm him down. When you are with him give him special treats. If he starts to act up blow in his face. This will startle him and break that behavior. But most of all, he just needs time to get used to his new home. Be aware that however you treat me, I will never forget it. Before you swat me, before you strike me, remember that I have teeth that could draw blood. And claws to strike back. And yet I choose not to attack you. If I don't act right then have me checked to see what is wrong. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too will grow old. On the difficult journey, on the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there. Because I love you so. Take a moment today to thank God for your pets. Enjoy and take good care of them. Life would be a much duller, less joyful thing without God's critters. Pass this on.
