Cats/siamese cat aggression

Question
hello,
i am new to this question thing but i am a bit concerned about my siamese kitten. we've had her for almost a month and i'd say she is 3 months old give or take. the problem with her is that she will go from nice and peaceful into enraged in a very short time. like yesterday for instance, she puffed herself up, hissing and clapped (have you heard a cat make this sound with her mouth before?) and walked to a side. she wouldn't look me in the eye, and then she attacked. i've had cats before but none this violent. it's hard to say when she is playing and when she means to hurt. plus the hissing and the injured look, well, it's a bit too much. please help.

Answer
Hello Liza!
Wow, she sounds like a little demon!  I have never seen a kitten act like that.  Are you sure she isn't playing?  Somtimes kittens will play a bit rough.  You used the word "attacked" so it sounds like she was serious though!  I am at a loss, I really do not know what to tell you.  You may want to try keeping a squirt bottle handy and if she gets too agressive, squirt her.  Cats hate that. I hope she calms down!

God bless,
Becky

Expertise

I am not a breeder,so please direct any breeding and/or birthing questions to an "expert" that is. I love all cats but my favorites are the Rex and Siamese. I used to show Cornish Rex as a hobby but have not been able to for a few years. Right now I have three Siamese and one Cornish Rex. As a former veterinarian assistant, I can help you with general healthcare issues. Being a cat owner for years, I will be glad to answer any behaviour and/or nutrition questions too. Please remember, I am NOT a Veterinarian, so if your kitty is seriously ill, please do not hesitate to contact a Vet.
