How can I tell what my cat is trying to tell me with all her meows? She is a "constant whiner" and I would like to be able to understand her needs.

Hello Al!

Congratualions on your entry into the world of the Siamese!  These cats are just great,  I think.  One thing that sets them apart, is exactly what you are referring to.  Siamese will "talk" to you.  I don't know how long you have had this cat,  but you will soon learn what the meows mean.  My Siamese was very vocal about eating and wanting attention.  It's hard for me to say exactly what you cat is trying to tell you since I cannot be there, but I think if you listen, you will soon know.  These cats are very vocal, as you have found out, but I think that is why I love the breed so much!
