Question
Hi Karen, How are you?
I have a 2 year old Persian Cat, Possibly pregnant (not sure)for the last few days I noticed that she she is passing urine on the floor outside her litter box, I also noticed that she is not covering her feces in the litter box after finishing. nothing has changed at home, no other pets, what could possibly be wrong ???
Please help because I'm really worried about her.

Hi Fayza,
Most times when cats urinate outside the box it's because they have a urinary tract infection. Have her checked out at the vet's. This is most likely the reason for doing this. As for the not covering the feces, it for the same reason. She has pain when urinating, she associates the pan with the pain, she wants out as fast as she can move. Once the infection is cleared all should be back to normal. Good luck.
