Question
i mated my bitch about three weeks ago, shes always been a fussy eater but now shes not eating hardly anything , and i am worried incase she is pregnant? i did worm her and de flea her a couple of months before,  she has now got fleas is there anything i can give her ? this is her first mating. how will i know if shes pregnant

Answer
Hi Michelle,
I have always noticed my bitches going off their food at about 3 weeks, usually just a day or two. They must feel more full because of the babies growing. I wouldn't worry about it at all. There are some natural flea repellents out there, I don't know the names of anything in the UK because I live in the US and we don't have the same brands, but you should be able to find something if you google Natural flea repellent. I have used frontline on a pregnant bitch before with no problems, but that would be up to you.
Good luck!
