Cayman Islands/Temporary Jobs

Question
I have a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Business Management, presently I am studying towards my ACCA qualification. I have over  four years working experience as an accounts assistant.
I legally live in the United Kingdom but of a Jamaican national. Would I be able to apply for a work permit in the Cayman Island?
Please could you give me a rough estimate of the market rate for part qualified accountant. Do you think I would be able to earn $USD50,000 per year?

I look forward to hearing from you.

It isn't up to you to apply for the work permit - it is up to your employer to do that.  Please see my FAQ at http://www.gotocayman.com

I suggest that you look at some of the job adverts at http://www.caymannetnews.com and http://www.caycompass.com to see salaries, but these aren't always shown.  Note that salaries in Cayman are tax free, but you may have to make contributions to any medical insurance above basics.

Good luck!
