  I am an experienced Special Education Teacher and holder of a Masters Degree. I specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorder.  What is the job market like for Special Education Teachers in general?

I can't remeber ever having seen an advert in this area.  However, the Lighthouse School is the main school dealing with special needs.  They have an old website at http://www.lhs.edu.ky/ but it does have the schools address, phone number and e-mail address.

Have you checked the Department of Education website at http://www.brighterfutures.gov.ky/ ?  It has info about a Special Needs Report at http://www.brighterfutures.gov.ky/portal/page?_pageid=1408,1871077&_dad=portal&_...
