Question
Hi Mr.Clark
My name is Novlet Joseph a Jamaican/St.Lucian living and working in St. Lucia with my 2 daughters who have been to the Cayman Islands prior to now on two occasions to spend summer holiday with there grandmother who lives and work there for over 20yrs. She would like them to come for the summer holiday 2009 and would like to know the process that I will have to go through for them to visit. Novlet

Answer
Hi
This will really depend on what nationality there passport is - please see the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism page at http://www.caymanislands.ky/getting%5Fthere/entry_requirements.aspx

If the passport is St Lucian, then no visa is required.  However, it they are Jamaican, then they will need to apply for visas see http://www.immigration.gov.ky/portal/page?_pageid=1608,2524736&_dad=portal&_sche...

You don't say what age they are, do the only other issue (if they are travelling unaccompanied) is that they might need a letter explaining that they have your permission to fly, etc - might be worth checking with the airlines that you will use on their policies on young children flying alone.

Hope this helps!

Regards
Robert
