QuestionQUESTION: Hello,
I need an information for a tourist visa for Grand Cayman Island. I am going on a Carrebean cruise trip and the ship will be on a Grand Caymon coast for few hours. I am not US citizen, I am with Macedonian passport, but I live and work as a Research Scientist in USA (with H1-B visa). In this context, I kindly ask you do I need a tourist visa for Grand Caymon in order to visit it for few hours?
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Best regards,
Anita Trajkovska
ANSWER: Yes, citizens of Macedonia require a tourist visa to enter or transit through the Cayman Islands. There are no exceptions for those who are holders of US visas.

QUESTION: Hello again,
Thanks for the quick response. Where I can get a tourist visa for Grand Cayman?
I had found on web different statements, some of them claiming that visa is not needed for cruise tourists who spend less than 48 hrs on the island.
Thanks again for your cooperation.
Anita
AnswerTourists visas for the Cayman Islands are issued through the UK Embassy or Consulate which serves the are you reside.
All information I can find directly on the website of the Cayman Islands Department of Immigration does not mention any exceptions for cruise ship visitors. You may wish to contact them directly to verify this.
