There are two major food distributors and other more minor companies in Cayman. The major supermarket chains source their purchases directly from overseas and rely on local distributors for certain specialty products.

Progressive Distributors and Cayman Imports are the two largest distributors. They distribute to many restaurants, convenience markets, and small grocers. They also may provide some limited distribution to the major supermarkets.

GEL Wholesale and Maedac Supply are smaller distributors which distribute a variety of specialty products throughout Cayman.
