Question
Hi, I'd like to ask if what country does cayman island belongs? Is it true cayman is an overseas territory of United Kingdom? Thus, cayman belongs to the country of UK?

Answer
Yes, Cayman is a country in it's own right (eg sends it's own team to the Olympics, has it's own currency stamps, internet domain (.ky), national anthem, national symbols, etc), but as you say is an overseas territory of the UK.  The United Nation considres it a dependent territory.
Cayman has it's own legislative assembly, civil service, ministers etc.

Hope this helps!

Robert
