Question I am a teaching from Trinidad and Tobago with a BSc Degree and i am interested in teaching in the cayman islands. What do i have to do to become a teaching in your country
Answer There are two educations systems in Cayman - the public (mainly for Caymanians and follows the UK academic system), and the private (Can follow either the UK or the US system).
For jobs in the private schools - these are usually advertised in the local newspapers - the Caymanian Compass and Cayman Net News. The latter is fully available free online at http://www.caymannetnews.com so you should be able to look out there - especially the Friday edition which has most job adverts.
I guess that it may be worth contacting some schools or colleges directly - check out some of the links (including the FAQ so you understand the permit process) at http://www.gotocayman.com
As I have relatives on the island that I visit
regularly, I have good knowledge of the island from
both a tourist and a residents point of view.
