Is there a place to moore a boat and if so what is the average cost of moorage per month? I realize its  probable by the length of the boat.  Don't have one now.  Want to sell home & buy boat in Cayman Island.  Can you give me an idea of what a 25 to 30' would cost to buy & to moore? Thanks,

Hi Betty - buying a boat in Cayman, what a dream!  I hope you do.  Well, as for prices of boats, that's tough to answer, it all depends on your budget.  You can find a 25' boat for $25K or $125k, and whether new or used is a big factor along with amenities, etc.  

As for mooring your boat you have several choices:  Kaibo Yacht Club in Cayman Kai, Harbor House Marina, the Cayman Island Yacht club.  There's another marina being built, Barcadere, very near downtown Georgetown.  As for slip prices, you'd have to check the marinas for the latest but depending on which one you choose I'd say it would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $10/ft per month, for long term mooring.
