Answer
Hi Anthony - I hope you get the job there, but it'll be tough to go to work everyday living in such a beautiful place!  As for housing, unless the school system provides this as part of their package that they may offer, you'll need to secure housing on your own.  Depending on what your preferences are location and amenity-wise, you can pay anywhere from $1000 to $4000 per month CI for an apartment. I would suggest you inquire with the school to see if they may have any places in mind that other ex-pat teachers have used in the past that are economical.  Also - you'll need a work permit for Cayman, as well as a visa for long term stays.  To become a resident of the island, you'll eventually need a permanent visa and last time a friend of mine got one, about 6-7 yrs ago it was $15000.  So it's likely higher now.  I'm certain the school can help you out with all of these details.  Key will be - patience.  Things move slower there, especially the government.  Send me a follow up and let me know if you get the job!  Thanks Anthony.
