i want to move to cayman island in about 2 months from now and for start ill need a place to live, i need an appartment with max 2 room 1 bath. also i need to know the procedure for getting a work permit. the appartment will be a lont term rental and i can spend about 1000-1300 $ a month.thank you, damian mitu

Sorry for the delay in replying - I had to go on leave at short notice.

I think you first of all need to check the resources in my FAQ at http://www.gotocayman.com

It is your employer that needs to apply for the work permit, so therefore you first of all need to find a job.  However, it is illegal to visit Cayman to try to find work, so you have to look at the various recruitment websites/adverts to see if you can find a post and then apply.  You also have to be off-island whilst the work permit application is processed.

You may be able to get an apartment for that, so long as you are aware of other living costs (utilities, etc).
