Hi There.
    I am an accounting/economics graduate from Cameroon. I have  already passed 11/14 of the ACCA exams. I wrote the final papers in June 2010 (ie P3,P4 & P5)and awaiting the result. Also, I am CFA LEVEL 1 Candidate to take the exams in December 2010.

     I have 3-4 years relevent accounting experiece in Nigeria and I am looking forward for future carrer in the Island. Please can I find any temporary/permanent position with this my status? Your candid advise will be appreciated.

Hi Sabastain - thanks for your question.  The best advice I can give you is to begin searching online for accounting firms that have offices in Grand Cayman.  There are also over 400 banks that have a presence there.  Find the ones you'd be interested in working for and send them a copy of your resume with a cover letter explaining why you'd be a great asset to their firm.  I know that the big accounting firms, PWC, Deloitte & Touche, CML Offshore, Grant Thornton, KPMG have offices there as does Scotia Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Butterfield, RBC, Cayman National Bank and many many others.  Google "accounting jobs in grand cayman" and you should be able to find quite a few options.
